In the face of rising costs, stagnant or declining revenue, and workforce shortages, RCPA member Gaudenzia has released a policy brief warning of system-wide program closures, loss of clinical staff, and reduced access to care for individuals and families across Pennsylvania without significant action from the Commonwealth.

Gaudenzia is one of the largest non-profit behavioral health organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region, providing residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment, mental health services, and supportive housing across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Its policy brief outlines federal Medicaid cuts, workforce costs, and provider network inadequacy as key issues in need of immediate solutions.
