ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — With three months until the state budget deadline, a Lancaster County lawmaker is looking to protect people from budget impasses.


On Thursday, Republican State Representative Tom Jones highlighted House Bill 1947, also known as the “Responsible Budgeting Act.” The bill would allow schools and social services to receive state funding, even in the event of another budget impasse.
