As of July 17, 2026, the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) has migrated the Case Management trainings previously managed and administered by UPMC to the MyOMHSAS website. All trainings on MyOMHSAS are available to anyone, free of charge. The MyOMHSAS versions of the Case Management trainings are self-paced, and once the training is completed, the learner will be automatically enrolled for the knowledge test quiz. Learners will need to score a minimum of 80% to pass and will have three attempts to pass the quiz to receive a certificate. If the learner does not pass in three tries, they must reach out to the MyOMHSAS Help Desk inbox with their supervisor copied to request additional attempt(s). The certificate will be available for download after the quiz is passed. Learners can then download the certificate to share with their supervisor for their record.
The successful completion of these trainings will meet the state mandated training requirements for blended case managers, intensive case managers, and resource coordinators. However, it should be noted that this does not apply to providers located in counties that utilize their proprietary OMHSAS-approved training for mental health case managers.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the MyOMHSAS Help Desk inbox.
